Dr Peter Girardi

Dr Peter Girardi is a highly experienced general surgeon with specialist expertise in weight loss, breast and cosmetic surgery. He is committed to delivering patient-centred care, combining advanced surgical techniques with a compassionate and personalised approach to treatment.

Dr Girardi graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Adelaide in 2000. He completed his postgraduate surgical training at St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney before being awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2009. Following his fellowship, he undertook additional specialist training in laparoscopic surgery and surgical oncology at St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney and Royal North Shore Hospital, with a particular focus on the management of breast and thyroid disease.

To further broaden his surgical expertise, Dr Girardi completed fellowship training in cosmetic surgery through the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery, providing him with advanced knowledge of both reconstructive and aesthetic surgical principles.

Alongside his clinical practice, Dr Girardi remains actively involved in supporting community organisations, schools, and breast cancer-related charities. His commitment to education, advocacy, and community engagement reflects his dedication to improving health outcomes both within and beyond the operating theatre.
