Dr Robyn Aldridge

Dr Robyn Aldridge is a highly qualified Obstetrician, Gynaecologist, and Fertility Specialist who is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to women at all stages of life. With a reassuring and patient-centred approach, she supports women and couples through their unique healthcare journeys, from preconception and fertility concerns to pregnancy, childbirth, and general gynaecological health. Dr Aldridge believes in empowering her patients by providing clear guidance and supporting their individual choices, whether they are planning for a normal birth or a caesarean section.

Dr Aldridge completed her medical degree, obtaining her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from the University of Otago, graduating in 1998. She subsequently undertook extensive specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology across leading tertiary hospitals in both New Zealand and Australia. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG). Throughout her distinguished career, she has also contributed to medical education and clinical leadership, having served as a Senior Lecturer at a prominent university and as the Director of Clinical Governance at a major tertiary hospital.

In her clinical practice, Dr Aldridge offers comprehensive care for a wide range of obstetric and gynaecological needs. Her obstetric expertise spans low-risk and high-risk pregnancies, multiple births, assisted vaginal deliveries, and planned vaginal births after a caesarean section. As a Fertility Specialist, she has completed additional training in reproductive health and assisted conception, including IVF, helping couples navigate conception difficulties with personalised treatment plans. Additionally, she provides expert management for various gynaecological concerns, such as menstrual disorders, postmenopausal bleeding, abnormal cervical screenings, and the placement of intrauterine contraception devices.
