Dr Robert Labrom is a highly regarded Orthopaedic Surgeon who specialises in adult and paediatric spinal surgery. Dr Labrom completed his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Queensland in 1992. He went on to complete his specialist training as an Orthopaedic Surgeon in Australia before undertaking further advanced training in Canada. There, he successfully completed a Fellowship in Spinal Surgery and obtained a Master of Science in Spine Biomechanics from the University of British Columbia in 2002. Dr Labrom is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and a Fellow of the Australian Orthopaedic Association. He also holds professional memberships with the Spine Society of Australia, the Scoliosis Research Society, and the Australian Medical Association.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr Labrom is an Associate Professor and an Adjunct Associate Professor, contributing significantly to medical education and research. He is actively involved in supervising medical students, junior doctors, and postgraduate research students. As a dedicated researcher, he has published numerous peer-reviewed articles and textbook chapters on spinal surgery, and he regularly presents his findings at national and international medical conferences.
