Western Orthopaedics is a specialist orthopaedic practice with locations in Westmead, Sky City, Katoomba, Albury and Nepean Private Specialist Centre. Western Orthopaedics is led by specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon, Dr Pavitar Sunner. He specialises in hip, knee and shoulder surgery and has extensive experience in minimally invasive techniques, arthroscopic procedures, and sports medicine. Dr Sunner's journey in the field began in 1989 when he completed his medical degree at the University of Sydney. Subsequently, he honed his skills through additional training and a fellowship in Winnipeg, Canada.

In 2002, Dr Sunner returned to Penrith, founding Western Orthopaedics as a private practice. Committed to staying up to date with the latest orthopaedic advancements, he continues to engage in research, incorporating new procedures and refining existing methods to ensure that patients receive the best orthopaedic care.

Dr Sunner is dedicated to understanding each patient's individual needs and works with them to deliver successful orthopaedic surgery outcomes.
