Mr Peter Gard is a highly qualified and dedicated Orthopaedic Surgeon based in Heidelberg, Australia. Additionally, he performs knee arthroscopy and anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction. Mr Gard completed his medical training at the University of Melbourne, graduating in 1986. He undertook extensive specialist training in Melbourne and was admitted to the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons as a fully qualified Orthopaedic Surgeon in 1996. To further refine his skills, he travelled to the United States to complete a prestigious Fellowship in Adult Joint Reconstruction at Harvard Medical School. During his time abroad, he also served as a Clinical Instructor at Boston University and worked as an Attending Surgeon. Mr Gard is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) and a member of the Australian Orthopaedic Association (AOA).
