Dr Alvin Pun

After a somewhat traumatic experience with different surgeon, I received a recommendation from a family member to consult Dr Pun. He and his team are exceptional - they glided the DVA system, were extremely appoachable, knowledgeable and readily provided information no matter how trivial the question. My surgery was successful and my rehab steady. Honestly, you're in good hands with this guy.

I visited Dr Alvin Pun due to back pain that lasted for almost two years. He recommended exams and a couple of interventions to diagnose the cause and he finally identified it was a sacroiliac dysfunction which was treated with an injection and physiotherapy. I'm painless free since then! He was so professional, friendly and took the time to explain to me in every session my progress and alternatives. I can't thank him enough.

I couldn't speak highly enough, or explain in enough words, how awesome Dr Pun was throughout my treatment and appointments with him. From the very first appointment, until my review appointment, Dr Pun explained everything clearly and precisely, and suggested what needed to be done, without forcing the issue, despite my hesitations. Dr Pun only recommends what is absolutely necessary, and unfortunately I presented too late with my issue, so surgery was the only option. Before surgery, despite his hectic schedule, Dr Pun took the time to go over everything that needed to be done and why, allaying any nerves and trepidation I had, involving the surgery. Testament to how good a surgeon Dr Pun is, is the amount of pain I didn't feel after the surgery. After my release from hospital , I had no need for any form of pain medication. A stark contrast, to the previous six weeks prior to surgery. I cannot sing my praise enough for Dr Pun. After I'd woken up in recovery, after surgery, which was a success, Dr Pun explained once again what had been done, and what the outcome was. Excellent bedside manner in every step of my treatment. And a good sense of humour to boot. As my surgery was just before Christmas, Dr Pun suggested, when he came to check on me the day after surgery, if I had any issues, to contact him, even whilst he was on holidays. True dedication!! I cannot recommend Dr Pun highly enough. I don't think I can say that enough. Thank you Dr Pun for everything!!
