Dr Nishant Gupta

Dr Nishant Gupta, a Melbourne-based ophthalmologist, specialises in cataract surgery, laser and refractive eye surgery, and corneal surgery. He uses modern technology to treat eye conditions and is motivated by the life-changing surgery he is able to give to those suffering from poor eyesight and vision-threatening conditions. He is experienced in PRK and LASIK eye surgery in addition to multifocal and toric lens implantation. Dr Gupta trained in India where he gained experience in managing complex corneal conditions as well as cataract surgeries. Following this, he gained a postgraduate diploma in cataract and refractive surgery from Ulster University in the UK.

Dr Gupta is actively involved in research and has presented his work at conferences around the world. He has a number of publications in peer-reviewed journals such as the International Scientific Journal and is a member of multiple societies including the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and All India Ophthalmological Society.
