Dr. Nicholas Enright

Dr. Nicholas Enright is a highly skilled and dedicated Ophthalmologist based in Melbourne, Australia. Specialising in general ophthalmology, glaucoma, and cataract surgery, he is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centred care. Dr. Enright combines advanced surgical expertise with clear, reassuring communication to help patients protect, preserve, and enhance their vision. Dr. Enright completed his medical degree with Honours at the University of Sydney in 2012. He went on to obtain a Masters of Medicine in Ophthalmic Science from the same institution. He completed his specialist Ophthalmology Registrar training at a leading eye and ear hospital in Melbourne, followed by advanced fellowship training in glaucoma surgery at a major hospital in Perth. Dr. Enright is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (FRANZCO), reflecting his adherence to the highest standards of clinical excellence.

In his clinical practice, Dr. Enright manages a broad range of adult eye conditions, with a particular focus on early to advanced glaucoma, cataracts, and ocular hypertension. He is proficient in modern surgical techniques, including minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), laser therapies, and micro-incisional cataract surgery. Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Enright is passionate about education and is actively involved in teaching and training the next generation of Eye Specialists, having previously served as a Registrar of the Court for professional fellowship examinations.
