Dr Nandini Singh

Dr Nandini Singh is a highly qualified Ophthalmologist and Medical Retina Specialist who provides comprehensive, patient-centred eye care. Known for her reassuring and professional approach, she is dedicated to ensuring her patients have a thorough understanding of their diagnosis and management plan. Dr Singh grew up in regional Australia, which has given her a unique perspective on the delivery of healthcare and a deep commitment to accessible, high-quality medical services.

Dr Singh completed her Bachelor of Medicine with Distinction at the University of Newcastle in 2014. She went on to complete a Master of Medicine in Ophthalmic Science at the University of Sydney in 2018. Her specialist training in Ophthalmology was completed through a major eye hospital in Sydney, which provided her with extensive exposure to a variety of clinical settings, including busy trauma centres and regional communities. She subsequently completed a prestigious Medical Retina Fellowship in Melbourne, qualifying as a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists in 2023. Dr Singh is an active member of the Australian Society of Ophthalmologists and serves on the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists Health and Wellbeing Committee.

As a dual-trained Medical Retina Specialist and General Ophthalmologist, Dr Singh specialises in diagnosing and managing a wide range of complex eye conditions. Her clinical interests include cataract surgery and the treatment of retinal disorders such as diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, and retinal vein occlusions. She is highly skilled in performing advanced clinical procedures, including intravitreal injections, retinal laser therapy, laser iridotomy, and laser capsulotomy, helping patients preserve and improve their vision.
