Mr Michael Seitz

Dr Michael Seitz is a skilled Cardiothoracic Surgeon based in Geelong, currently seeing patients at St John of God Specialist Centre Geelong, St John of God Warrnambool Hospital and University Hospital Geelong. He completed his medical degree at the University of Sydney in 2009, followed by his specialist cardiothoracic surgery training in New South Wales and Victoria. In 2019, he was awarded his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. He later completed further additional training at the German Heart Centre in Berlin, Germany.

Dr Seitz has a comprehensive understanding of all areas of cardiothoracic surgery. He has specialist expertise in aortic valve repair, aortic valve surgery, mitral valve surgery, valve replacement, minimally invasive surgery, arterial revascularisation, transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) and rib fixation surgery.
