Our experience with A/Prof Gavin Wright was many things. Firstly, the fact that his skill and expertise saved my partner’s life during an operation. Woven in and around that was his calm and professional manner and his ability to relate to us. Full marks for sure.
I recently had a pleurectomy done by Gavin, and whilst I was anxious about having this surgery done for a while, Gavin absolutely smashed it. His knowledge, skills and overall experience showed, as recovery was not as bad as expected. I trust Gavin with my life and am so grateful to have found him as my surgeon.
Congratulations to Professor Gavin Wright and his team in the clinical trial they are currently carrying out at St Vincent’s hospital. I was a participant in the Prana Surgical study of lung tissue excision and was extremely impressed with the work they are doing and their dedication to this study.
Post surgery and very well explained and Gavin made me feel very comfortable
Had park bar insertion in my chest to correct my pectus excavation. During pre consultation he was thorough in the explanation of what to expect. The surgery itself was a success and post surgery he visited me every day to see my progress. 3 weeks after he is encouraging and motivates me to keep going!
Prof. Gavin Wright is truly exceptional. He brings the latest medical innovations into his practice with confidence and precision. His expertise in minimally invasive surgery allowed me to return to my routine in just a couple of days. People like him are the reason there is less pain and suffering in the world. Keep shining, Prof. Wright, and thank you for the incredible work you do.
As a patient of Prof Wright over several years, I have the utmost faith in his surgical skills, his ability to explain and reassure.
I have been a patient for over 10 years and have always felt safe, informed and happy that I am getting the best care and treatment. Thank you!
