Dr Mei Cheah

Dr Mei Cheah is a fertility specialist and advanced laparoscopic and
fertility surgeon practising in Melbourne, Australia. 

She is a co-founder and director at Create Health, a holistic Women’s
Health service. Acknowledging the need for personalised and bespoke fertility
services led us to the conception of a doctor-owned, boutique fertility and IVF
clinic: Create Fertility. 

Dr Mei Cheah graduated in Medicine from The University of Melbourne in
2006. She has worked in many areas of medicine and surgery, including neonatal
intensive care before commencing her specialist training in Obstetrics &
Gynaecology in Victoria. 

Recognising her calling in endometriosis management and reproductive
health, Dr Mei Cheah went on to further pursue advanced training in
Reproductive Endocrinology and IVF in Adelaide, before returning to Melbourne
to complete her training in advanced endoscopic surgery, specialising in
management of endometriosis and fertility surgery. 

Dr Mei Cheah currently works in both public and private sectors. She
provides a full spectrum of gynaecology, fertility and obstetrics service to
her patients, to allow the greatest extent of continuity of care during the
whole fertility journey. She currently holds a public appointment at Monash
Health, in both Obstetrics & Gynaecology to continue to mentor training
specialists and to give back to the profession. She is also mentoring medical
students and is a current examiner for the Monash University examinations. 

She is also a passionate advocate of women’s health and women’s
reproductive rights. The government of Victoria and the City of Casey Council
have recognised Dr Mei Cheah as one of the great women in STEM and she was
given the opportunity to be keynote speaker to inspire and motivate future
generations of women to pursue STEM subjects. 

She is a firm believer that we can realise both career and fertility
