Dr Mark Stein

Dr Mark Stein is a highly qualified Endocrinologist who provides comprehensive care for patients experiencing a wide range of endocrine and metabolic disorders. With a patient-centred approach, he focuses on delivering evidence-based treatments tailored to individual needs. His clinical practice encompasses the diagnosis and management of complex hormonal conditions, ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care to improve their overall health and well-being.

Dr Stein completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) with First Class Honours at the University of Sydney, where he was awarded a university prize for clinical medicine. He went on to complete his specialist training in diabetes and endocrinology, earning a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP). Furthering his academic pursuits, he obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the University of Melbourne, focusing on molecular and clinical studies related to bone health and vitamin D. He is an active member of professional organisations, including the Endocrine Society of Australia and the Australasian Diabetes Society.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr Stein has served as a Consultant Endocrinologist and has a strong background in medical research, having conducted post-doctoral research overseas in the molecular biology of bone. He has designed and led multiple investigator-initiated clinical trials and has published numerous articles in international medical journals. His extensive research background informs his clinical practice, allowing him to integrate the latest scientific advancements into patient care.
