Dr Shamani Mendis

Dr. Shamani Mendis is a highly experienced consultant endocrinologist providing medical consultations at Complete Health Australia in Rouse Hill, Norwest and also has  private rooms in Liverpool. With a strong background in endocrinology and a commitment to patient care, Dr. Mendis offers comprehensive and evidence-based services to her patients.

Dr. Mendis completed her endocrinology training at Concord and Liverpool Hospitals and was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians (FRACP) in 2017. Her expertise covers various aspects of diabetes and general endocrinology, with a particular focus on the monitoring and management of diabetes and osteoporosis to prevent long-term complications. She is also actively involved in teaching and clinical research and holds an honorary associate position at the University of Sydney.

Dr. Mendis's educational background includes a Bachelor of Medical Science from the University of New South Wales and a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Sydney. Her special interests include diabetes, weight disorders, thyroid disorders, adrenal disorders, pituitary disorders, osteoporosis, menopause, and polycystic ovarian syndrome.
