Dr Mark Inglis

Dr Mark Inglis is a highly qualified Orthopaedic Surgeon who is dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. Specialising in the treatment of complex hip and knee conditions, he focuses on helping patients regain their mobility and improve their quality of life. Dr Inglis has a particular interest in managing degenerative joint diseases, such as arthritis, and performs a wide range of procedures, including primary joint replacements, revision surgeries, and reconstructions. His clinical approach is characterised by a commitment to understanding how symptoms impact each patient's daily life, ensuring that both surgical and non-surgical pathways are thoroughly explored.

Embracing modern technological advancements, Dr Inglis utilises state-of-the-art techniques to support patient recovery and optimise joint function. He possesses extensive expertise in minimally invasive procedures, including the direct anterior approach for hip replacements, as well as robotic-assisted knee replacements. Dr Inglis completed his medical education in South Australia, earning a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (BMBS) alongside a Bachelor of Medical Science (BMedSci). Following his core orthopaedic surgery training, he undertook advanced post-fellowship training both nationally and internationally, focusing on anterior hip replacement and robotic knee surgery. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) and a Fellow of the Australian Orthopaedic Association (FAOrthA). In addition to his clinical work, he has contributed to the medical community as a Senior Lecturer, conducting research into patient outcomes following total joint replacements and mentoring future generations of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
