Dr David Worsley

Dr David Worsley is an Australasian-trained Orthopaedic Surgeon with expertise in trauma, hip, and foot and ankle surgery. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Newcastle (NSW) before completing specialist orthopaedic training across major hospitals in Sydney, Newcastle, New Zealand, and Adelaide. His training included posts at St Vincent’s Hospital, Prince of Wales Hospital, Sydney Children’s Hospital, John Hunter Hospital, and the Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Adelaide.

Dr Worsley has undertaken advanced fellowship training in trauma surgery in New York, foot and ankle surgery in Sydney, and additional post-fellowship training in anterior hip surgery.

He holds a Master’s degree in Public Health and is actively involved in orthopaedic education as a member of the Australian Orthopaedic Association (AOA) state education committee. Dr Worsley also has international experience, having volunteered in Papua New Guinea to support developing healthcare systems.

Dr Worsley consults privately at Flinders Private Hospital, Goolwa, Morphett Vale and Stirling and holds public appointments at Flinders Medical Centre and Noarlunga Health Service. His clinical focus is on delivering tailored orthopaedic care that supports optimal patient recovery and function.
