Dr Lisa Bedson

Dr Lisa Bedson is a dedicated General Practitioner and Fertility Specialist who is deeply committed to supporting individuals and couples on their reproductive journeys. With a compassionate and patient-centred approach, she provides comprehensive care across all aspects of fertility and reproductive health. Dr Bedson is particularly passionate about delivering inclusive, affirming care, having undertaken specialised diversity and inclusion training to support patients from all backgrounds, including the LGBTIQ+ community.

Her clinical expertise spans a wide range of reproductive treatments and assessments, including ovulation induction, intrauterine insemination, and in vitro fertilisation. Dr Bedson is highly skilled in performing essential fertility procedures such as embryo transfers, oocyte retrievals, and surgical sperm retrievals. Beyond her clinical practice, she has made significant contributions to the wider medical community, participating in the development of international and national evidence-based guidelines for polycystic ovary syndrome, unexplained infertility, and the management of miscarriage and ectopic pregnancy.

Dr Bedson graduated with her medical degree from the University of Adelaide. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and holds a Diploma from the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. To further her expertise, she completed a prestigious Fellowship in Reproductive Health Care at the University of Toronto and holds a Master of Medicine in Reproductive Medicine from the University of New South Wales.
