Dr Kokum Jayasinghe

Dr Kokum Jayasinghe is an Obstetrics & Gynaecology specialist with a special interest in infertility. They bring compassion and empathy to every consultation as they understand first-hand the emotions their patients feel when experiencing infertility.

Dr Jayasinghe was awarded an Australian Development Cooperation scholarship to study Medicine. They completed their internship at St Vincent's Hospital, Fitzroy and joined the Mercy Hospital for Women to undertake specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology upon receiving the DRANZCOG Gold Medal. They completed two years of elective training at East Yorkshire, England and Box Hill Hospitals. They then joined the Royal Women's Hospital and Melbourne IVF for subspecialty training in infertility and IVF.

Dr Jayasinghe holds public consultations in reproductive medicine and gynaecological surgery. They are also actively involved in training junior doctors in the field of reproductive medicine.
