Dr. Frank Chen

Dr. Frank Chen is a specialist colorectal surgeon and endoscopist. Dr. Chen trained at St Vincent's Hospital Sydney and attained their Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons. They completed further specialised colorectal surgery training both in Australia and at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic Foundation, becoming a member of the Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia and New Zealand.

Dr. Chen is a consultant in both public and private practice. Their previous appointments include Head of Colorectal Surgery, Supervisor of Colorectal Surgical Training, Director of the Anorectal Physiology Laboratory, and Chair of the Colorectal Cancer Multidisciplinary Meetings. Dr. Chen was also invited onto the core committee of the Victorian Branch of AVANT of Medical Experts and served as chair for three years. In 2016, Dr. Chen won the Best Doctors Award as judged by their peers.
