Mr Bassari has expertise in a wide spectrum of surgical interventions, including: gastroscopy, colonoscopy, hernia surgery (such as groin or abdominal hernias), laparoscopic gallstone/gallbladder surgery (cholecystectomy), laparoscopic anti-reflux surgery (e.g., Nissen fundoplication), laparoscopic hiatus hernia repair, haemorrhoidectomy, gastrectomy, and oesophagectomy. In respect to bariatric surgery, Mr Bassari performs sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass, gastric band, gastric balloon, duodenal switch and revisional bariatric surgery procedures.

Ramez is quite a pleasant person and not arrogant like some surgeons. My operation went completely smoothly although explanations around risk and recovery were a bit light on - he did provide a written paper on the procedure and recovery but this was pretty generic. Overall I'm happy with the results.
