Dr Edwina Moore

Dr Edwina Moore is a compassionate and highly skilled Breast and Endocrine Surgeon. They are meticulous in all aspects of their work and personal life.

Dr Moore graduated from the University of Tasmania with First Class Honours and two academic prizes. They undertook surgical training at The Alfred Hospital, obtaining a fellowship in General Surgery. Subsequently, Dr Moore completed three years of subspecialty training in breast and endocrine surgery.

Dr Moore was appointed as a Staff Specialist of the Breast, Endocrine and Acute Care Surgery Unit at the Royal Hobart Hospital. They were then appointed by the Department of Endocrine Surgery, at the Cleveland Clinic, as a Clinical and Research Fellow and subsequently as a Clinical Associate.

Dr Moore has authored four book chapters and multiple peer reviewed journal articles. They were awarded the top prize for research for two years by the Diabetes and Metabolism Institute at the Cleveland Clinic. Aside from being a surgeon, Dr Moore is also a very proud parent of two children. They are an enthusiastic committee member of the Women in Surgery Section of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
