Dr Deepa Taranath is a highly accomplished Paediatric Ophthalmologist and Eye Surgeon who specialises in children's eye care, strabismus, and general ophthalmology. As a dedicated Children's Doctor specialising in eye health, Dr Taranath has extensive experience in the screening and management of Retinopathy of Prematurity in premature infants. She also holds a keen interest in genetic eye disorders, collaborating closely with clinical geneticists to diagnose, manage, and counsel families affected by inherited ocular conditions. In addition to her paediatric work, she is highly skilled in performing advanced cataract surgeries and managing adult strabismus, ensuring comprehensive eye care across all age groups.

Dr Taranath obtained her medical degree from MAHE University in India, followed by specialised postgraduate training in ophthalmology at Rajiv Gandhi University.
