About Dr Amanda Day
Dr Amanda Day is a Paediatrician and Paediatric Allergist at Offspring Health, Monash Children's Hospital and the Royal Children's Hospital. She completed her medical degree at the University of Melbourne in 2002 followed by her specialist paediatric training at the Royal Children's Hospital. She later completed her Master's degree in Allergy at Imperial College London, UK and worked as a Paediatric Allergy Fellow at Addenbrooke's Hospital (University of Cambridge). She became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2017.
Dr Day has expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of allergic diseases in children, including: allergic rhinitis (hay fever), urticaria, asthma, eczema, angioedema, anaphylaxis and food allergies. She offers skin prick testing for inhalant and food allergies.
Alongside her clinical work, Dr Day is also a member of the Australian Society of Allergy and Clinical Immunology where she consults for their anaphylaxis committee. She also holds professional memberships with the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology and the British Society of Allergy and Clinical Immunology.

If only we could give a higher star rating above and beyond 5. Amanda has a kind and welcoming aura that makes a potentially anxiety driven consultation much calmer. She is both knowledgeable and clearly passionate about not only our child’s health but ours as well. As parents, sometimes all we need is to be heard, and Amanda is an impeccable listener. Life is much easier with a great Paediatrician.
Absolutely wonderful paed. We had come from a different paed and I had little to no hope. Amanda was a breath of fresh air and I felt valued and affirmed. She is firm with her recommendations and manages to do this in a respectful and kind manner.
I have used Offspring Health for both my sons now over the past 4 years and have received amazing care from all the team. I mainly see the same paediatrician (Amanda) who is lovely, caring, knowledgeable and makes the effort to ensure she sees her patients as often as needed, even if it means coming in early or staying later. If something came up that was outside her scope, she would happily connect us with someone else within the practice that specialises in the area. So you always feel you are getting the best advice available plus the added bonus of not having to go elsewhere as Offspring has all areas of health professionals covered.
