Dr Geetika Badkar

Dr. Badkar is a highly experienced general and developmental paediatrician, having completed her medical degree from the University of Auckland in 2005. She undertook postgraduate training in paediatrics in New Zealand before moving to Melbourne to complete specialist training in general paediatrics and community child health at the Royal Children's Hospital.

Geetika received her Fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and has experience in general, emergency, neonatal, and developmental pediatrics. Geetika is interested in a broad range of general pediatric problems including newborns and infant issues, learning difficulties in developmental pediatrics, asthma, eczema, constipation, continence, and other toileting issues. As well as food intolerances, tonsillitis, sleep apnoea, language and development delay, autism spectrum disorder and ADHD.

Geetika sees patients aged from newborn to 18 years old and provides referrals when necessary. In addition to working at Offspring Child Health Specialists, Geetika also works in the Departments of General Medicine (outpatients) and Forensic Medicine at The Royal Children's Hospital and Monash Children's Hospital respectively.
