Dr Chris Wilson

Dr Chris Wilson is a highly dedicated Orthopaedic Surgeon who is committed to ensuring his patients achieve a complete recovery and a swift return to their daily activities. With a patient-centred approach, he focuses on delivering precise, high-quality care tailored to individual needs. His clinical practice encompasses a wide range of orthopaedic interventions, with a particular focus on advanced hip and knee procedures.

Dr Wilson obtained his medical degree and completed extensive surgical training across both Scotland and Australia, providing him with a global perspective on the latest advancements in orthopaedic care. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) focused on advances in revision knee surgery and robotic knee surgery. His professional qualifications include membership of the Royal College of Surgeons, the Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training, Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery, and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr Wilson is deeply involved in academic research and medical education. He serves as an Associate Professor and holds a key role as a Research Director in arthroplasty. He is an active member of the Arthroplasty Society of Australia and contributes to the research team at the Australian National Joint Registry. Through these roles, he regularly contributes to scientific literature and helps advance the broader field of orthopaedic surgery, particularly in areas such as robotic technology, post-operative pain relief, and the management of surgical infections.
