Dr Bryan Tran

Dr Bryan Tran is a highly qualified General Surgeon who provides comprehensive surgical care. He specialises in general, upper gastrointestinal, bariatric, and hepatobiliary surgery. With a patient-centred approach, Dr Tran is dedicated to delivering high-quality, evidence-based surgical interventions. His clinical focus encompasses both benign and malignant conditions, ensuring that patients receive tailored treatment plans that address their unique health needs.

Dr Tran completed his medical education at the University of New South Wales, where he obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree. He subsequently undertook his junior medical training and completed his Specialist General Surgery training across regional and metropolitan networks. Dr Tran was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. Following his fellowship, he pursued advanced sub-speciality training in bariatric, hepatobiliary, and upper gastrointestinal surgery at leading medical institutions in Queensland and New South Wales.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Tran is actively involved in medical education and research. He serves as a Lecturer, teaching the next generation of medical professionals, and acts as a Supervisor for Surgical Trainees. Dr Tran has published and presented his research both nationally and internationally, focusing on advancements in upper gastrointestinal and hepatopancreatobiliary surgeries.
