Dr. Brian Ang

Dr. Brian Ang is a highly qualified and internationally trained Consultant Ophthalmologist and Eye Surgeon based in Melbourne, Australia. Specialising in glaucoma management and cataract surgery, Dr. Ang is dedicated to providing patient-focused care that is tailored to individual needs. He is highly skilled in performing complex glaucoma and cataract procedures, including advanced minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) techniques. With a compassionate approach to eye health, he also focuses on the treatment of age-related macular degeneration and diabetic eye disease, ensuring his patients receive comprehensive and reassuring support.

Dr. Ang obtained his medical degree from the University of Edinburgh in 2000. He completed his specialist training in Ophthalmology across Norwich, England, and Aberdeen, Scotland, qualifying as an Ophthalmologist in 2009. To further refine his expertise, he undertook advanced subspecialty fellowship training in glaucoma in Aberdeen, Geneva, and Wellington. Dr. Ang is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (RANZCO), a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, United Kingdom (RCOphth), and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (RCSEd).
