Dr Archana Bakal is a highly qualified and dedicated Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. Her clinical practice encompasses a broad spectrum of women's health services, ensuring that patients receive personalised and compassionate support throughout all stages of their reproductive lives.

In her clinical practice, Dr Bakal specialises in both Obstetrics and Gynaecology, with a particular interest in Urogynaecology. Her expertise extends to managing complex pregnancies, providing comprehensive antenatal and postnatal care, and addressing diverse gynaecological concerns. She is highly skilled in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including colposcopy, vulvovaginal health assessments, and minimally invasive gynaecological endoscopy and surgery. Her holistic approach ensures that each patient's unique medical needs are met with the highest standard of clinical excellence.

Dr Bakal completed her medical degree (MBBS) and subsequently obtained a Diploma in Gynaecology and Obstetrics (DGO). Her academic excellence was recognised with two Gold Medals during her medical graduation, including a prestigious Gold Medal for Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG). Demonstrating a strong commitment to her field, she holds active memberships in several professional bodies, including the Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy & Surgery Society (AGES), the Australian and New Zealand Vulvovaginal Society (ANZVS), and the Australian Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (ASCCP). Additionally, she contributes to the future of medicine as an Examiner for both the Australian Medical Council (AMC) and the FRANZCOG examinations, and she enjoys lecturing and teaching medical students.
