After graduating in medicine and surgery in 1989, Dr Khan began her training at Westmead Public Hospital, completing her internship and residency before entering the Family Physician Training Program. Dr. Khan is an outstanding Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. She is professional, deeply empathetic and her passion for women’s health is defined by her kindness when managing women with complex pregnancies and teenagers seeing a gynaecologist for the first time. Dr. Khan looked after me during a challenging pregnancy and she is now the child’s gynaecologist. We have been patients of Dr. Khan for 16+ years. As a family we recommend her to family and friends.
Dr Khan did a difficult Mirena coil removal for me after two GPs had been unsuccessful. I had resigned myself to having it done under anaesthetic, but Dr Khan managed to remove it, and was very considerate about the discomfort it would cause. She said to let her know if it was too much. It was a bit painful, but blissfully quick. Her experience made all the difference.
Dr Khan was wonderful throughout the appointment. She was, patient, caring and showed genuine empathy when reviewing my elderly mother’s condition. She took the time to explain the issue and the recommended treatment clearly and professionally, taking the time to ensure she felt comfortable and understood. We greatly appreciate her compassionate approach.

Dr Khan has a lovely manner, she is very understanding and works with me on my care plan in a way that makes me feel very comfortable.
I found Dr A Khan incredibly warm which made my experience of seeking answers to my period issues so much better. This is aside from the fact that seems thorough and keen to help change women’s lives for the better.
