Dr Batool Nadim

Dr. Batool Nadim is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Norwest Private Hospital and St John of God Health Care. She earned her medical degree from the University of Baghdad, Iraq, in 1989 and later completed a Master's degree at the University of Sydney. Dr. Nadim is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and received advanced training in laparoscopic gynaecological surgery during a two-year fellowship at Nepean Hospital. She also holds a subspecialty qualification in Obstetrics and Gynaecology Ultrasound from The Australasian Society of Ultrasound in Medicine.

Dr. Nadim specializes in managing various conditions, including chronic pelvic pain, abnormal uterine bleeding, abnormal pap smears, and teenage gynaecology problems, particularly focusing on polycystic ovary syndrome and irregular menstrual cycles. She performs laparoscopic surgery for procedures such as hysterectomy, fibroids, ovarian pathology, and endometriosis. Additionally, she offers office-based gynaecology procedures like colposcopy, cervical biopsy, and the insertion of Implanon and Mirena devices.

In obstetrics, Dr. Nadim provides comprehensive care for pregnancies, addressing both high and low-risk cases in public and private hospital settings. She is an advocate for women's autonomy in making informed decisions about their health.
