A/Prof Antony Friedman

A/Prof Antony Friedman is a specialist Gastroenterologist and Endoscopist. They have a broad range of interests in Gastroenterology, with a specific focus in quality bowel and oesophageal cancer screening, inflammatory bowel disease, coeliac disease, irritable bowel syndrome and functional gastrointestinal disorders. Antony studied at Monash University and received their MBBS. They were admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians as a specialist Gastroenterologist. They completed a Doctor of Medicine research degree on medication optimisation for the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease.

A/Prof Friedman performs endoscopy, capsule endoscopy, faecal microbial transplantation and intestinal ultrasound. All patients can be seen urgently by Associate Professor Friedman.
