Are you Zena Tambini?
Zena Tambini is a registered mental health nurse, as well as an accredited cognitive and behavioural psychotherapist. With a holistic and collaborative approach to health and well-being, Zena prioritises empathy and care in her practice, aiming to help clients explore their emotions, thoughts, and behaviours to break free from cycles that hinder progress.
Having completed her undergraduate and master’s degrees in psychology at the University of Portsmouth, Zena furthered her education by obtaining a PGDip in mental health nursing. She gained valuable experience working in various acute mental health services within the NHS in London before focusing her efforts on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT).
Zena's expertise in CBT was refined through her work in several IAPT services with the NHS in London, where she assisted clients dealing with a range of difficulties such as OCD, depression, health anxiety, phobias, PTSD, and CPTSD. Furthering her training at King's College London, she specialised in long-term health conditions, providing support to individuals facing distress associated with diabetes, cancer, COPD, IBS, and Crohn’s disease while working at Croydon Talking Therapies.
Continuing her dedication to professional development, Zena completed training with the EMDR Academy and is currently working towards EMDR accreditation. She integrates both CBT and EMDR into her therapeutic approach to support clients on their healing journey.
