Best experience! So professional, and she made me feel so comfortable!!

We were incredibly lucky to have Dr. Zen Ling as our Fetal Medicine Obstetrician after abnormalities were found during a 20 week scan. Throughout an incredibly challenging time, Zen was brilliant. Even in the darkest moments she managed to show exceptional emotional intelligence. Her kindness, considered approach and care, helped us to feel reassured, even when faced with deep uncertainty. Throughout our pregnancy, Zen would go out of her way to calmly and considerately answer any questions we had and very promptly and proactively pushed for us to receive any necessary tests quickly. Her commitment to her patients was most clearly demonstrated on our baby's planned birth date, when it was unclear whether we would have our scheduled c-section due to a lack of ICU beds. Zen swooped in and ended up delivering our baby, which felt like a very special full circle moment in our pregnancy. We felt so blessed to have had Zen as our doctor during what was an incredibly hard time. Her level of care is unrivalled and we couldn't recommend her enough.

I had an exceptional experience under the care of Zen. From the very beginning, she was incredibly personable and attentive, creating an environment where I always felt truly heard. Whenever I had concerns, she took the time to listen, reassure, and explain everything in a way that was easy to understand, which made me feel consistently supported and well looked after. Her responsiveness was remarkable - she always went above and beyond to ensure I felt informed and comfortable at every stage. Zen strikes the perfect balance between professionalism and warmth. Her expertise and medical knowledge are evident, yet she communicates with such clarity and compassion that I never felt overwhelmed. I cannot recommend her highly enough. Her care made a meaningful difference to my experience, and I am deeply grateful for everything she did.

We were referred to Dr Ling for a fetal medicine scan . It was a worrying time and we had a big fright when referred. Dr Ling was so reassuring, and talked through the steps with us. She was very considerate of our choices regarding the modes of delivery.

I am incredibly grateful for the care and support provided by Dr Hua Zen. Her professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail made me feel very well cared for. She always took the time to listen to my concerns and ensured both my baby and I received the highest standard of care.

I am 40 years old, also have multiple uterine fibroids (big ones outside of the womb and also one is in cervix) and baby was in breech position, so the operation would be fairly complicated. What I appreciated the most was Dr. Hua Zen Ling called me and we could have a scan together a week before the planned c-section date. It was a big assurance that the surgeon directly confirmed the position of baby and fibroids and explained about the operation in advance. Also on the day, in operation theatre, everyone was so professional and kind, which helped to reduce me and my partner’s fear for the surgery. On top to the obstetricians including Dr. Ling, also want to say big thanks to anesthetic team, they explained and tried to make me relax a lot, which was amazing. The wounds healed great after the operation and local midwife who saw it said “this is really great job, it would not be seen once it is fully healed”. It is also amazing. If I have a chance to give a birth again, I would definitely come back to Chelsea and Westminster hospital!

Dr Ling has been a godsend throughout my whole last pregnancy. I am a so called “geriatric” mom and she was not only attentive but went above and beyond to reassure me that everything will be okay. At the beginning of my pregnancy my anxiety was through the roof, but Dr Ling has managed to help me relax and actually enjoy the rest of it. Thanks to her, I now have the most adorable baby. I highly recommend her, not only is she uber knowledgeable but she has incredible bedside manner. I don’t plan any more kids, but if I did- I would choose her over and over again.

. I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for the exceptional care and support I received during the complex circumstances of my pregnancy. Throughout the duration of my pregnancy, I faced several challenges, including hospitalizations due to concerns about my baby's reduced movements and a diagnosis of SGA. The entire staff in the maternity unit and ward, including Joshua Brandon, demonstrated remarkable support. However, I feel compelled to extend my deepest appreciation to Dr. Hua Zen Ling, who truly went above and beyond in providing care that exceeded my expectations. During one of my hospital stays, I was informed that I needed an ultrasound, but due to the team's busy schedule, I was advised to stay an additional day on the ward until the scan could be arranged. Dr. Ling, after completing her morning rounds, took the initiative to locate a room and personally conducted the ultrasound, ensuring that I didn't have to spend an extra day in the hospital. Her compassion, kindness, and willingness to go the extra mile demonstrated a level of care that I will always be grateful for. I understand the immense pressure that the NHS is currently facing, and I want to ensure that the entire team receives the recognition they deserve for delivering outstanding service. I met with doctor Ling quite late in my pregnancy. It turned out that my baby was breech in her examination. She was able to give me clear guidance and next step on how to proceed.

Dr Zen is very empathetic and detailed with her approach. Make me feel at ease throughout the pregnancy. Her motherly nature prepares me for what’s ahead with the delivery and post partum. So grateful to have found her. Highly recommend!
