Dr Zainab Jiyad

Dr Jiyad is a Consultant Dermatologist at St George’s Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, London. She graduated from University College London (UCL) with Distinction in Clinical Practice, being awarded a certificate of Merit in each year of Medical School. She completed her dermatology training in London and undertook a higher research degree in Queensland, Australia, looking at skin cancers in organ transplant recipients. Her research degree (MD Res) was Highly Commended by the British Association of Dermatologists (THESIS Fellowship) and she has published widely in medical journals and won various awards for presentations. She is the author of the Wiley published textbook, Handbook of Skin Disease Management. She is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the Population Health Research Institute, St George’s University of London.
