Mr Yu Chong

Mr Yu Chong is an experienced Consultant Ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive eye care focused on preserving and restoring vision. With extensive clinical expertise, he offers tailored management plans for a broad range of complex ocular conditions. His patient-centred approach ensures that individuals receive clear guidance, reassuring support, and high-quality care throughout their diagnostic and treatment journeys.

In his clinical practice, Mr Chong specialises in medical retina, inflammatory eye diseases, and ocular surface diseases, with particular expertise in conditions such as uveitis. In addition to his clinical commitments, he maintains a strong interest in digital health and clinical informatics, actively contributing to digital transformation initiatives designed to enhance clinical pathways, diagnostic precision, and overall patient outcomes.

Mr Chong completed his medical training at Imperial College London, graduating with first-class honours in Global Health and receiving distinctions in clinical practice. He subsequently earned a Master's degree in Health Informatics from City University London, as well as a Master's degree from Lucy Cavendish College, University of Cambridge. He is a recognised member of the Faculty of Clinical Informatics.
