Dr. Yen-Ching Chang

Dr. Yen-Ching Chang is an accomplished Consultant Clinical Oncologist specialising in paediatric radiation oncology and advanced cancer therapies. As an expert in her field, she focuses on the delivery of precision radiation techniques, including proton beam therapy and technical radiotherapy. Dr. Chang serves as a Clinical Lead for specialised proton therapy initiatives, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary clinical teams to design tailored treatment strategies for children and young adults facing complex oncological conditions.

Her primary areas of clinical expertise encompass paediatric neuro-oncology, haematological malignancies, and Hodgkin's lymphoma. Beyond initial treatment delivery, Dr. Chang is deeply committed to managing and mitigating the long-term late effects of childhood cancer treatments. Her work prioritises helping young patients achieve the best possible quality of life following therapy, keeping her at the forefront of technical radiation oncology and survivorship care.

Dr. Chang earned her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree and subsequently attained Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) and Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR). She is an active member of the Children's Cancer and Leukaemia Group, contributing to dedicated sub-groups in radiotherapy and late effects.
