She has also investigated the risk of venous thromboembolism in ovarian cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy, as well as the effects of uterine artery embolisation for uterine fibroids. Dr Achampong completed her medical training, earning a Bachelor of Medicine degree. She has also undertaken advanced leadership training, serving as a Chief Registrar.
