Dr William Ward

Dr William Ward is a dedicated Consultant Paediatrician and Clinical Lead who provides holistic, high-quality care for infants, children, and young people. Specialising in General Paediatrics with a dedicated focus on child health, Dr Ward is committed to placing young patients and their families at the heart of every clinical decision. He collaborates closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive medical assessments and supportive care tailored to each child's physical and emotional development.

In his clinical practice, Dr Ward has a particular sub-specialty focus on paediatric diabetes. He leads specialised clinics dedicated to supporting children living with diabetes, offering structured patient education, multi-disciplinary care, and routine health monitoring. His reassuring and family-centred approach empowers young people and their parents to manage chronic conditions effectively and live active, healthy lives.

Dr Ward obtained his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MB ChB) from the University of Leicester in 1991. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (FRCPCH), demonstrating his continuous commitment to the highest professional standards in child healthcare.
