Mr Werner Struss

Met with Mr Struss to discuss my ultrasound results. Although inconclusive he was very clear with his assessment and recommendation for a way forward. He was on time, approachable, instilled confidence and was obviously up to speed with my case.

Mr. Struss was very warm and welcoming to myself and my wife. He was very professional, and had all the answers to our questions and more. He explained everything very clearly with a bit of humour, which would put any nervous patient at ease.

Mr Struss was extremely friendly and explained to me all the various possibilities I could opt for re my prostate cancer. I am a worrier and he then referred me to another consultant at the spre. This meeting very much concurred with the advice Mr Struss had given me though the new procedure I would have opted for was not recommended due to my ICD and a new hip. I have accepted their initial advice ie have regular PSA tests (3 monthly) and yearly/bi annual MRI scans. I am now worry free , well almost, and can’t thank mr Struss enough for his reassurances. I’d like to add that his PA, Michelle, was most helpful and considerate and went the extra mile when sorting out appointments. Thank you.

Mr Struss was good at explaining the various different options and their advantages and disadvantages

Excellent guidance throughout the whole experience - from first consultation to 6 week post op sign off. Mr Struss is very thorough in his guidance, very easy to understand and very empathetic to the discomfort of experiencing an enlarged prostate/BPH. The surgical procedure was flawless and all Mr Strauss’s detailed descriptions of the various stages and expectations of the recovery process played out accurately - which gave great reassurance. I would highly recommend Mr Struss and his team.

The appointment was on time. Mr Struss was professional and took time to explain the outcomes of assessment and treatment options. He blended seriousness and humour to make me feel at ease during the appointment.

Mr Struss was friendly, charming and very professional. He explained my results and the procedure that he recommended honestly and in detail. At no time did I feel pressurised and answered any questions fully.

Mr Struss went out of his way to explain what the potential issues are that i may be experiencing and what further tests i needed. His explanation was clear and easy for me to understand.

I found the consultation very informative with understanding my treatment requirements as I was also able to ask more questions. The meeting was beneficial in progressing with my treatment plan.

Visited Mr Struss following prostate issues. Excellent explanation and options provided by Mr Struss. Given plenty of time to consider all options available. At each consultation I was seen on time and given plenty of time to ask questions. Michele (Secretary) was excellent at keeping me up to date and informed prior to and after the procedure. Highly recommended
