Dr Walter Mmeka is a Consultant Medical Oncologist and Clinical Lead in cancer services who provides comprehensive, compassionate, and patient-centred care for individuals undergoing diagnosis and treatment for various malignancies. Dedicated to guiding patients through complex cancer pathways, Dr Mmeka collaborates closely with multi-disciplinary specialist teams to ensure each individual receives clear guidance, holistic support, and evidence-based treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.

In his clinical practice, Dr Mmeka specialises in non-surgical cancer care and systemic anti-cancer treatments, including modern chemotherapy regimens, targeted genetic therapies, and immunotherapy. His clinical interests encompass a broad range of tumour types, including upper and lower gastrointestinal cancers, melanoma, sarcoma, hepatobiliary malignancies, neuro-endocrine tumours, and cancers of unknown primary origin.
