Dr Victoria Salem

Dr Victoria Salem is a highly regarded Consultant Endocrinologist who specialises in Endocrinology & Diabetes as well as General Internal Medicine. Her clinical practice focuses on providing comprehensive, evidence-based, and patient-centred care for individuals experiencing a broad spectrum of endocrine disorders and complex metabolic conditions. She has extensive clinical expertise in managing both type 1 diabetes and type 2 diabetes, offering tailored treatment plans aimed at optimising glucose regulation, preventing long-term complications, and improving patient quality of life.

Dr Salem completed her undergraduate clinical training at the Royal Free and University College London School of Medicine, graduating in 2002 with a First-Class intercalated Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Physics and Bioengineering. Demonstrating a strong commitment to academic excellence, she went on to earn a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Neuroendocrinology, focusing her doctoral research on the gut-brain axis, appetite regulation, and human glucose metabolism.
