Dr Jothi is a Consultant Eye Surgeon with a special interest in vitreo-retinal surgery and medical retina. She holds a substantive position at the Belfast Health & Social Care Trust, where she provides comprehensive eye care services. Her NHS practice includes general and specialist clinics at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast, South Tyrone Hospital in Dungannon, and Banbridge Polyclinic.

Dr Jothi has extensive training in the field of Ophthalmology, having completed her specialist postgraduate training in India before moving to Northern Ireland. She has further enhanced her skills through various fellowships and training programs, including a Medical and Surgical Retina Fellowship in Belfast and Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham. She obtained her CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training) in 2016.

As a Member and Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmology in the UK, Dr Jothi maintains a high level of expertise in her field. She is also a member of the British and Eire Association of Vitreo-Retinal Surgeons (BEAVRS). Dr Jothi's qualifications include a Fellowship FRCOphth, Membership MRCOphth, Diploma DRCOphth from The Royal College of Ophthalmology, and a Master of Surgery MS Ophth from The TN Dr MGR Medical University in India.

In her practice, Dr Jothi provides comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages. Her areas of expertise include cataract surgery, laser procedures, retinal diseases, glaucoma, lid diseases, macular degeneration, and eye emergencies. She has experience in both general and specialist eye conditions and is committed to delivering high-quality care to her patients.

In addition to her NHS practice, Dr Jothi also sees private patients at various healthcare facilities, including Kingsbridge Private Hospital in Belfast, Cathedral Eye Clinic in Belfast, Hillsborough Private Clinic, and North West Independent Hospital in Ballykelly.
