Dr Ursula Schulz

Dr Ursula Schulz is a dedicated Consultant Neurologist who provides comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic care for individuals facing complex neurological conditions. She possesses extensive expertise in stroke medicine, transient ischaemic attacks (TIA), and general neurological disorders. Dr Schulz adopts a patient-centred approach, prioritising clear communication and thorough evaluations to deliver reassuring and effective medical care to every patient.

Dr Schulz completed her medical studies at RWTH Aachen University in Germany, passing the German Medical State Examination in 1994 and obtaining her medical doctorate in 1995. She undertook her general medical training in Glasgow before acquiring a Membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 1998. She subsequently completed a D.Phil in stroke research as a clinical research fellow, followed by her Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training in Neurology in 2008.

In addition to her clinical commitments, Dr Schulz actively contributes to medical research and education. Her clinical interests centre on cerebrovascular disease, carotid artery stenosis, brain white matter disease, and secondary stroke prevention strategies.
