Dr Tracy Lawson

Dr Tracy Lawson is a dedicated Consultant Paediatrician and Consultant Neonatologist who specialises in providing comprehensive care for newborn infants, premature babies, and young children. With a compassionate, patient-centred approach, she supports families through the critical and often delicate early stages of a child's life. Her practice encompasses holistic infant health, ensuring that every patient receives attentive, evidence-based medical care tailored to their individual clinical needs.

In her day-to-day practice, Dr Lawson possesses clinical expertise across neonatal intensive care and general paediatrics, with a primary focus on children under two years of age. She routinely manages acute neonatal conditions, oversees neurodevelopmental follow-up clinics to support the early identification of developmental delays, and delivers specialised care for vulnerable newborns. Her key clinical interests include neonatal resuscitation, therapeutic hypothermia, early infant development, and the close surveillance of high-risk infants to promote long-term health and well-being.

Dr Lawson completed her medical degree at Manchester University. Alongside her clinical duties, she is deeply involved in medical education and quality assurance, serving in leadership roles as Clinical Governance Lead and College Tutor for trainees in paediatric medicine.
