I'm very pleased with how much the prostate operation has helped. I have no problems to report. It took a few months to recover but now I'm very happy with the way I can urinate.

In early Feb 2026 I underwent a Holep operation on my prostrate. The staff on the ward were amazing, even the coffee was nice. The procedure itself has transformed my ability to live life again, rather than just survive with a catheter. I am starting to have an energy level again which has been missing for over a year. Mr Johnston explained everything before the procedure, in terms even I understood. He followed up with a call to tell me there were no signs of cancer, so I have been blessed.

After a year of treatment for kidney issues, I cannot thank Mr Johnston enough for the exceptional care he provided throughout the entire process. From the very beginning, he took the time to truly listen and understand my situation, even though my case was physiologically quite complex. Mr Johnston consistently went above and beyond to make sure the treatment plan worked for me. He explained every stage of the process clearly, made sure I understood my options, and always encouraged me to be involved in the decisions about my care. What stood out most was that my health and wellbeing were always his top priority. Following the procedures, he continued to check in and ensured I was recovering well. He gave an incredible amount of his time and attention, and it was clear he genuinely cared about how I was doing. His professionalism, expertise and compassion made a very difficult year much easier to navigate. I’m extremely grateful for the care I received and would highly recommend him to anyone needing kidney treatment.
