Dr Timothy Lawes is a dedicated Paediatrician who provides compassionate, patient-centred care for infants, children, and adolescents. With a clinical approach rooted in empathy and evidence-based practice, he specialises in diagnosing and managing a wide range of childhood medical conditions. Dr Lawes works collaboratively with young patients and their families to develop tailored treatment strategies that support healthy physical, developmental, and emotional growth.

His clinical focus encompasses general paediatrics as well as specialised areas within child health, with a particular emphasis on paediatric infectious diseases and global child health. Dr Lawes has extensive experience in examining the epidemiology and management of antimicrobial resistance, paediatric HIV, and social determinants that impact child health outcomes. Dr Lawes completed his primary medical training with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) alongside a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree. He has pursued extensive postgraduate training, earning a Master of Science (MSc), a Master of Research (MRes), a Postgraduate Certificate in Child Health (PGCertCH), and a Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (DTMH).
