Dr. Thomas Bloomfield

Dr Tom Bloomfield is a leading Consultant in Pain Medicine and Anaesthesia at the Wessex Pain Clinic.  His NHS practice is based at Hampshire Hospitals.

He specialises in the treatment of all chronic and complex pain conditions, including back pain, migraines, fibromyalgia, neuropathic pain, and complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS). With over a decade of experience, Dr Bloomfield is known for delivering personalised, evidence-based care that integrates both conventional and innovative therapies.

Dr Bloomfield holds a First-Class Honours degree in Medical Sciences from the University of Oxford and graduated with Distinction in Clinical Medicine from GKT London. He is a Fellow of both the Royal College of Anaesthetists (FRCA) and the Faculty of Pain Medicine (FFPMRCA). In addition to his clinical work, he is a co-founder of the Wessex Pain Clinic and participates in the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme, where he explores the use of technologies such as artificial intelligence and virtual reality to enhance pain care.

His approach is both holistic and forward-thinking, combining advanced medical techniques with a compassionate, inclusive philosophy.
