Dr Tharani Mahesan is an accomplished Consultant Urologist dedicated to providing high-quality, comprehensive urological care. She offers compassionate and patient-centred clinical management, assisting individuals with a wide spectrum of urological health concerns. Dr Mahesan works alongside multidisciplinary medical teams to ensure each patient receives personalised care tailored to their specific medical needs.

With a broad clinical focus, Dr Mahesan possesses specialised expertise in female urology, academic urology, and urological oncology. Her practice encompasses the diagnosis and clinical management of conditions affecting the kidneys, bladder, prostate, and male genitalia, alongside reconstructive urological procedures and penile-preserving surgical techniques. She is actively involved in emergency urological care, diagnostic investigations, and outpatient management, ensuring clear communication and reassurance throughout every stage of assessment and treatment.

Dr Mahesan completed her medical education at the King's College London School of Medicine, obtaining her medical degree before completing higher specialist surgical training in urology. She achieved Fellowship with the Royal College of Surgeons and is a member of the British Association of Urological Surgeons. Alongside her clinical duties, she serves as a Regional Adviser for surgical education and takes an active role in teaching and mentoring undergraduate medical students.
