Dr Susanna Polotto is a dedicated Consultant Plastic Surgeon who specialises in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery and advanced reconstructive procedures. Dr Polotto works closely within multidisciplinary clinical teams to ensure tailored care pathways designed to restore physical form, confidence, and long-term surgical well-being.

Her clinical practice encompasses a broad range of reconstructive techniques, with a specialised focus on oncoplastic breast surgery and microsurgical reconstruction. Dr Polotto possesses dedicated expertise in prepectoral breast reconstruction, immediate flap reconstruction following mastectomy, and complex surgical management for breast disease. Dr Polotto earned her primary medical degree as a Medical Doctor at the University of Genova, where she also completed her specialist qualification in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Her post-graduate training includes a Supplemental Diploma in Oncoplastic and Reconstructive Breast Surgery, as well as an international Clinical Fellowship in Reconstructive Microsurgery at the Ninth People's Hospital, affiliated with Shanghai Jiao Tong University. She achieved BRESO Certification as an Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon in 2023. Additionally, she maintains active professional memberships with leading bodies, including the Association of Breast Surgery, the European Society of Surgical Oncology, and G.Re.T.A. Oncoplastics, while also serving as an Executive Committee Member for BRESO.
