Dr Susan Willis

Dr Susan Willis is an experienced Consultant Urological Surgeon specialising in the diagnosis and management of general urological conditions. She offers comprehensive clinical care across all aspects of urology, maintaining a clear commitment to evidence-based practice and patient-focused care. Dr Willis works collaboratively with patients to evaluate complex urological symptoms and establish individualised treatment strategies designed to optimise health outcomes.

Dr Willis completed her undergraduate medical degree, obtaining her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MB ChB) alongside a Bachelor of Science (BSc). She undertook postgraduate clinical research at Imperial College London, where she was awarded a Research Doctor of Medicine (MD). Dr Willis achieved her Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Urology (FRCS Urol) in 2013 and subsequently gained a Postgraduate Certificate in Healthcare Leadership from the Open University in 2015. She is a Member and Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and an active member of The British Association of Urological Surgeons.

In her day-to-day clinical practice, Dr Willis possesses sub-specialist expertise in endourology, with a focus on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of kidney stones. She regularly performs minimally invasive and surgical procedures, including extracorporeal shockwave lithotripsy and ureterorenoscopy for stone removal. In addition to her clinical commitments, Dr Willis is dedicated to medical education, playing a key role in delivering regional training programmes for surgical trainees.
